Abstract

This article aims to investigate the trajectory of a prominent activist in the black movement, Ironides Rodrigues, and his links with the official periodical of the Popular Representation Party (PRP). The PRP was the political heir of the Brazilian Integralist Action, a fascist movement from the 1930s. The aim is to contextualize, through the analysis of the author's trajectory, some of the reasons that led him to contribute to the integralist periodical.
