PHILOSOPHICAL FOUNDATIONS FOR TECHNOLOGICAL EDUCATION: BRIEF REFLECTIONS OF ÁLVARO VIEIRA PINTO ON SOCIETY, TECHNIQUE AND EXISTENCE

Abstract

Technological education has developed as a proposal that overcomes the educational dichotomy that emerged in society divided into classes. The objective of this work is to discuss some philosophical contributions to technological education based on the thinking of Brazilian philosopher Álvaro Vieira Pinto. This is an essay. The Brazilian thinker conceives the technique as an existential, a character trait of the human being and that elucidates the quest for overcoming dualistic education. The text points to the importance of technological education for the humanization of society, as well as the relevance of the decolonial movement.
