Abstract

This aims to develop critical reflections on the impacts of the pandemic on education, signaling intervention possibilities for social workers based on Law No. 13,935 of 2019. The motivation for delimiting this topic refers to the processes triggered by the training path in Service Social, based on theoretical-practical experiences. Theoretical-criticism was used in structuring and reflecting on the topic, mentioning the carrying out of field research based on an interview based on guidelines and a focus group, with free dialogue as a way of promoting approaches to social reality, seeking get to know who teachers and students are and what they think about the impacts of the pandemic on the dimensions of life, bringing their notes. The pendemic situation required an imperative capacity to reinvent possibilities, and, it became evident, the concrete need for the presence of social workers in education to realize human and social rights.
