Abstract

This article aims to present the data collection of the research entitled: Women in the academic context and the pandemic of the new coronavirus: difficulties for professional training and teaching. The pandemic context, exposed by the spread of the new coronavirus, presented the need for research to be developed by the Self-Evaluation Committee of the Social Work Course of the Palmeira dos Índios Educational Unit - Campus Arapiraca - Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL), in order to bring knowledge closer to the institutional reality, aiming to expand the possibilities of the debate on gender and professional training. The gender relations that are established from the class society, are configured, defining the male and female with stereotyped bases and derived from preconceptions. As we look at the subject, it is realized that it is intrinsic to the body, to the movement of this other being to a change of perception of a social nature.
