Abstract

The current changes in the world of work due to the adoption of a flexible production regime and neoliberal policy increasingly lead to the precariousness of work relationships and their high turnover, impacting mainly the youth who have greater difficulty entering the labor market, seeking, several times, as a solution their temporary entry as young apprentices. Therefore, this study aims to present the main challenges of the professional learning policy for young people in Brazil. The methodology used was bibliographical and qualitative research. The results show that professional learning is a palliative public policy that regulates a teaching and work process that does not guarantee the permanence of youth in the productive market and in dignified conditions.
