CHILD EDUCATION IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF FRANCA SP

Abstract

This article aims to present the municipal management of philanthropic, non-profit private institutions, working in the area of education in the city of Franca (SP) specifically in early childhood education, daycare segment, in the period considered from 1998 to 2011. early childhood education in the Brazilian scenario, the changes that have taken place in the institutions that care for children from zero to six years of age, with the new legal system, the transition from Social Assistance to Education and the main challenges experienced by municipal managers in the relationship between public power and affiliated institutions.

Graduada em Serviço Social, pós-graduada em Educação Infantil e em Gestão Pública Municipal. Atualmente atuo como Diretora de Divisão de Creches na Secretaria Municipal de Educação, Franca/SP, Brasil.
