BASIC SOCIAL PROTECTION CONTRIBUTIONS TO VULNERABILITY FAMILIES SERVED BY THE SOCIAL ASSISTANCE REFERENCE CENTER - CRAS

Abstract

Observing the National Social Assistance Policy -
PNAS, CRAS is the state unit responsible for implementing Basic
Social Protection - PSB, through a territorial base, which includes
areas of social vulnerability. This article will present contributions
from the PSB to the families that are served by this system, which,
according to the PNAS, aims to prevent situations of vulnerability
through the development of potentialities and acquisitions, and the
strengthening of family and community ties. Firstly, the concept of the
PSB will be presented in this article and later the contributions to the
families served by the services of ered by them through and only by
the CRAS. It is hoped that this article can contribute to the
non-stereotype of welfarism imposed by neoliberalism over the years,
as well as so that the reader can understand the right in the light of
the Social Assistance Policy through CRAS, its services and impacts
for the community served.
